Continuing Education Provider Information
PESI, Inc., is approved as a provider of continuing education by numerous national agencies and routinely applies for continuing education credits for professionals from state agencies on an as needed basis, when required. As part of PESI's mission to promote and facilitate continuing education excellence, we are continually in the process of seeking approval as a provider of continuing education through new agencies for professionals.
There are many national, state and local licensing boards and professional organizations that will grant continuing education credit for attendance at PESI's seminars and activities. Please save your seminar brochure and certificate of completion and contact your own board or organization for specific filing requirements to obtain approval.

Cardiovascular Technology Professionals:Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) recognizes programs and providers approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
Case Managers:Our programs, when applicable, have been reviewed and awarded clock hours by the Commission for Case Manager Certification.
Chaplains/Clergy:This course is designed to qualify for continuing education hours. Many states do not require pre-approval of continuing education offerings. Please check with your licensing board to determine your specific requirements. PESI will gladly apply to any state board when seminar material is appropriate for Chaplains/Clergy.
Certification in Thanatology:Many of PESI's educational offerings that focus primarily on death and bereavement are recognized by the Association for Death Education and Counseling to meet the thanatology-related educational contact hour requirements to be Certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement. If approval is not specified in your brochure or on the continuing education page for the seminar/conference you are interested in, please contact PESI to verify.
Counselors:Credit requirements and approvals vary per state board regulations. Please save the course outline, the certificate of completion you receive from the activity and contact your state board or organization to determine specific filing requirements.

Certified Diabetes Educators:The National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators recognizes courses sponsored by a CDR approved provider.
Exercise Physiologists:ASEP members will earn CECs for full attendance at a seminar. The ASEP allows members to earn a maximum of 10 CECs in any one 5 year period.
